Release of the Week
Just a quick post to offer up my personal release of the week choice. There were plenty of contenders, the new Blood Abscission for instance is one that many will be talking about when list season rolls around and is worthy of that. In addition, the new Cytotoxin has everything to give those who love tech death a real fix.
I am once again however, going down the Lordi route and picking the album that I had most fun with. That would be ‘Obliterated Life’ by Putrid Offal from France.
It’s just a good, rotten slab of death metal which even has touches for the grindcore enthusiasts too. It’s not re-inventing the wheel of course and it might be unlikely that this one lived too long in the memory but for now at least, it’s been a blast.
