Cassette Collection Part 4.
Well since I’ve been lamenting the lack of vinyl storage I am currently facing, I have been thinking about my tape collection and how much easier it is to store. Don’t get me wrong, I’ll always prefer vinyl but the portability and storage of tapes are a nice advantage that it has as a format.
So I’ve decided that it’s time for another instalment of my cassette collection. So here’s three more I picked out.
Tape number 1 of this edition is the most recent album by my favourite band. A band that has no right to be as good as they are, this far in to their career and I am of course talking about Invincible Shield by the mighty Judas Priest.
Next up is A Violet Truth by Allfather. It’s got a bit of everything from death, black, sludge and thrash. In their own words “Beards. Metal. Fuck You”.
Finally for this post we’ve got Echoing Chambers of Soul by French death metal band Cadaveric Fumes. Unfortunately this was their only full length and they split up in 2021 but this is well worth checking out for modern death metal fans.
Well there we go. I’m off to buy more tapes.
Hails!
